Classes - make something special for yourself!
Interested
in learning about traditional Japanese ceramics? Please feel free to
join us in an international artistic and educational environment. We
offer instruction during the week in the morning, afternoon and evenings.
Learn basic, intermediate and advanced techniques and methods of working
clay, clay types, decoration styles before firing, glazing and firing.
Tom
creates all kinds traditional handcrafted Japanese pottery at the school/studio,
and with the guidance of this humble potter you can too! Traditional
bowls, tea cups, teapots, sake bottles and cups, vases, plates, dishes,
pots, dinnerware and housewares of all kinds.
Pottery classes are reasonably priced. (Once a week for 3 hours/3 times
per month: ¥12,000 per month + firing fee.)
